Kozak FC (Fully Compacted) is a pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle developed and produced by the Ukrainian company ZBROIA. Moreover, the Kozak FC continues the well-known “Kozak” rifle line while introducing significant upgrades in both design and internal mechanics.
Domestic-manufactured barrel
First of all, the Kozak FC 550/290 features a domestically manufactured 550 mm barrel with twelve rifling grooves. Over years of production, ZBROIA has proven that its in-house barrels deliver excellent shot-to-shot consistency and high accuracy with minimal dispersion. As a result, this model performs reliably in the 5.5 mm (.122) caliber.
High-pressure air reservoir
In addition, ZBROIA manufactures the high-pressure air reservoir in-house. The reservoir offers a capacity of 290 cm³ and operates at a working pressure of 30 MPa. Before installation, technicians carefully inspect each reservoir and confirm compliance with documentation included in every package.
Furthermore, the reservoir features a Wika pressure gauge and a regulator, which together maintain maximum consistency of shot energy. The filling port, protected by a cover, measures 6 mm in diameter. To complete the setup, the package includes two filling adapters: one threaded and one quick-disconnect.
Multi-shot system and main rifle mechanisms
Additionally, ZBROIA supplies the Kozak FC with two 12-round magazines designed for 5.5 mm (.122) pellets.
To improve compactness, designers moved the trigger mechanism closer to the rear of the stock. At the same time, they recessed the air cylinder into the stock while maintaining a capacity of 290 cm³. Thanks to extensive experience, modern production technologies, and premium materials, the trigger mechanism delivers outstanding reliability and durability. ZBROIA manufactures it from high-grade tool steel and equips it with adjustable trigger pull weight and travel length. For added safety, the rifle also includes a manual safety to prevent accidental discharge.
Bullpup configuration
Finally, ZBROIA selected a full-size bullpup configuration to optimize the internal layout of the rifle’s mechanisms. Consequently, the stock’s design and shape provide a comfortable, stable, and secure grip during shooting.
Manufacturer’s warranty
To conclude, ZBROIA backs the Kozak FC and its other rifle models — including Kozak, Hortytsia, Biathlon, and Sapsan — with a 24-month manufacturer’s warranty, ensuring long-term reliability and stable performance.
