Kozak FC

ZBROIA Kozak FC PCP air rifle

ZBROIA Kozak FC is a compact PCP air rifle that is comfortable to hold. It fits in the car boot without trouble and does not tire you on a long walk. The line has two generations, Kozak FC and the newer Kozak FC-2.

Which Kozak rifle to pick

Both generations come as 450/230 and 550/290. The first number is the barrel in mm, the second is the cylinder in cm³. The 450 is shorter and lighter to carry. The 550 has more air, so it gives more shots before you need to refill.

If you mostly carry the rifle and shoot from different positions, go for the 450. If you spend hours at the range, the 550/290 will save you trips to the pump. More about the second generation is on the Kozak FC-2 page.

What reviewers say

Kozak zbroia rifles have been tested outside Ukraine more than once. Joe Brancato from Airgun Scientist (USA) did a detailed Kozak FC-2 review. The Polish channel Strzel Se also filmed their own test, and Alexon, the official ZBROIA dealer in Guatemala, made a video about ZBROIA products.

Parts for the kozak air gun

For Kozak there is a 4.5 mm sound moderator made by ZBROIA. The magazine, indexing lever, indexing plunger and pellet loader are the same as on Sapsan, and there is a single shot magazine too. If you want a bipod, the ZBROIA swivel stud lets you mount one. All of it is in accessories for air rifles.

Like any pcp kozak, the rifle needs a 300 bar pump or tank. Buy a few kinds of pellets in your caliber and keep the one that groups best in your barrel.

Moderator and thread

Kozak takes the ZBROIA moderator directly. If you want to use a moderator with a 1/2″-28 UNEF thread, there is an adapter from 1/2″-20 that fits Kozak, Sapsan and Hortitsia. A moderator makes shooting at the range or in the garden more pleasant for you and for your neighbours.
