Discovery Optics 1×25 DS Red Dot is a closed-type red dot sight designed to improve aiming speed and accuracy when shooting with hunting firearms, sport rifles, as well as airsoft and air guns. The illuminated reticle allows shooting in natural light conditions ranging from dusk to bright sunlight.
Thanks to its ergonomic design, lightweight construction, and compact dimensions, this sight is convenient to use on any type of weapon.
Features of the Discovery Optics 1×25 DS Red Dot Sight:
-
Lightweight, compact, and fully enclosed housing, allowing reliable operation even in rainy conditions.
-
The front lens is placed at an angle to reflect the reticle dot from the LED and direct it inside the sight.
-
Lenses feature a multi-layer coating that enhances optical performance, protects the glass from minor scratches, and promotes quick runoff of raindrops. Protective rubber lens caps are included to keep dust and dirt away.
-
The housing is nitrogen-filled, preventing internal fogging and protecting against moisture.
-
Reticle: 2 MOA red dot. Brightness adjustment is performed by a side turret with 11 brightness levels.
-
Power supply: CR2032 3V battery. The battery compartment is integrated into the brightness adjustment turret and sealed with a metal cap and rubber O-ring.
-
The brightness adjustment turret and windage/elevation cap covers are textured with anti-slip knurling for comfortable handling with gloves and in wet conditions. Adjustment clicks are 1 MOA, with a total adjustment range of 30 MOA for both windage and elevation.
-
Integrated mount with a single steel clamping screw for installation on Weaver/Picatinny rails.
Operation:
-
Turning the illumination on/off and adjusting brightness is done with the large side turret, which has 12 positions (0 = off, 1–11 = brightness levels).
-
Battery installation: the battery compartment is located in the brightness adjustment turret. Unscrew the cap and insert the battery, observing polarity.
-
Adjustments: windage and elevation turrets are located on the top and right sides. Unscrew the protective caps to access the adjustment slots. Adjustments are made with a flat-head screwdriver. Do not force the turrets beyond their rotation limit.
