The new generation of the PCP air rifle ZBROIA Biathlon, developed at the request of the Ukrainian Biathlon Federation, is now available in the ZBROIA retail network.

It is designed with ergonomic features similar to sporting rifles used in competitive disciplines — lightweight, fast, and well-balanced for both junior and adult shooters during training sessions.

Features of the ZBROIA Biathlon Air Rifle

ZBROIA developed the Biathlon rifle barrel in-house and manufactures it from steel with 12 grooves and a 450 mm twist rate. The standard barrel length in the base configuration measures 550 mm.

The 200 cm³ air cylinder uses a unique mounting system that differs from other ZBROIA rifles. You can open the new rear cap with a single 15-degree turn. ZBROIA includes two filling connectors in the package.

During development, ZBROIA focused on reducing weight. The current model weighs 3.4 kg, which improves comfort for young sport shooters. The ash wood stock features two sling mounting points. Shooters can adjust the cheek piece and butt plate to achieve a personalized and comfortable fit.

The bolt system operates with a linear cocking mechanism similar to the Fortner action in small-bore biathlon rifles. This design gives professionals familiar with ZBROIA or Anschütz rifles a natural and intuitive shooting experience.

The trigger mechanism simplifies operation. Shooters can adjust trigger pull length and weight using two screws inside the trigger guard, without disassembling the rifle.

The new magazine secures pellets with ball detents and performs reliably in any temperature without premature wear of silicone inserts. Its larger, ergonomically shaped body allows a secure two-finger grip. Shooters can insert magazines quickly and save crucial seconds during competitions. A magnet holds each magazine firmly in the stock. ZBROIA supplies the rifle with six magazines, and each magazine holds five pellets.

ZBROIA equips the rifle with a proprietary diopter rear sight on an 11 mm dovetail rail. The system includes two interchangeable apertures (1.4 mm and 1.5 mm) with precise elevation and windage adjustments. The redesigned front sight screws directly onto the barrel. The set provides five interchangeable front sight inserts with different diameters.

ZBROIA sets the rifle at 7.5 joules at the factory. The base model uses 4.5 mm caliber, and customers can also order the 550/200 model in 5.5 mm caliber.
