The new ZBROIA Biathlon 550/200 Sport Air Rifle in 4.5 mm caliber now supports shooting with an optical sight. Its power has increased to 16 J, and the rifle replaces the traditional diopter sight with a 16-slot Picatinny rail, allowing easy optics installation. This upgrade significantly expands its functionality and enables accurate shooting at distances up to 100 meters.
Air Rifle ZBROIA Sport Specifications
The Biathlon rifle features a steel barrel developed in-house by ZBROIA. It has 12 grooves and a 450 mm twist rate. The barrel length is 550 mm in the standard configuration.
Weighing only 3.4 kg, the rifle remains comfortable for young athletes. Its ash stock includes two rails for attaching special straps. The adjustable cheekpiece and buttplate let shooters customize the rifle for maximum comfort and stability.
The rifle uses a straight-pull bolt, similar to the Fortner bolt, replicating the cocking mechanism of small-bore biathlon rifles. Even professional shooters will find it as comfortable as an Anschutz rifle, which served as the design model.
The new trigger mechanism simplifies operation. Shooters can adjust the trigger travel and pull weight without disassembling the rifle, using two screws located in the trigger guard.
The magazine features additional locking balls, allowing shooting under any temperature conditions without premature wear of the silicone inserts. The larger magazine body has a well-designed shape, making it easy to handle with two fingers. Its ergonomics allow quick insertion into the port, saving valuable seconds during competitions. A built-in magnet secures magazines in the stock compartment. The set includes 6 magazines, each holding 5 pellets.
