Discovery Optics ED-PRS GEN2 4-20×52 SFIR FFP-L is a tactical riflescope from the ED-PRS series, designed for long-range shooting (100–1500 m).
The Discovery ED series scopes (ED-AR, ED-PRS) use HOYA FCD100 ED glass from Japan. This glass contains no lead or arsenic. As a result, lenses show very low chromatic aberration. Shooters see sharp contours and vivid images across the full field of view.
Key features of Riflescope Discovery Optics ED-PRS GEN2 4-20×52 SFIR FFP-L :
-
The body uses strong aircraft-grade aluminum T6-6061. Its durable build handles recoil up to .50 BMG.
-
A 52 mm objective lens and a 34 mm tube provide excellent light transmission, even in low light.
-
The matte anodized finish protects against scratches and chips from falls or rough handling.
-
Dry nitrogen filling stops internal fogging. High-quality seals ensure waterproof and fog-proof performance.
-
The reticle is a Mil-Dot design with an MRAD metric scale. It supports vertical and horizontal corrections, including windage.
-
It sits in the First Focal Plane (FFP) and is glass-etched.
-
The red illumination offers 6 brightness levels, with “0” off positions between each.
-
Only the central crosshair lights up. The image remains clear from glare across the zoom range.
-
Parallax adjusts from 20 yards (18.28 m) to infinity, giving precise focus at any distance.
-
Diopter adjustment adds flexibility for different users.
-
The turrets offer 1/10 MRAD click value. Elevation range is 35 MRAD, windage range is 17 MRAD.
-
Clicks are crisp and audible. Aggressive knurling and a rotation counter make adjustments easy, even with gloves.
-
Set your zero at the 25 m mark and never lose your reference — even with winter gloves on.
-
The “Basquill” milling pattern prevents accidental movement.
-
Turret Loc
-
Fully multi-coated (FMC) lenses increase light transmission. They also resist water, reduce reflections, and block scratches from dust or debris.
