PCP Air Rifle ZBROIA SAPSAN TAC-MC 450/480

The ZBROIA Sapsan TAC-MC 450/480 PCP Air Rifle is ZBROIA’s first production PCP rifle to combine a carbon fiber air cylinder, an externally adjustable pressure regulator, a built-in quick-fill connector, and an integrated sound moderator in a single platform.

Its bullpup configuration with a forward-mounted cocking lever keeps the overall length to just 710 mm, while retaining a full-length 450 mm barrel. This makes the rifle equally suitable for outdoor shooting and training in confined spaces. Designed for recreational and training use, it operates reliably in temperatures ranging from −10°C to +50°C and features a 10-round magazine in 5.5 mm (.22 caliber).

Operation and Maintenance

Loading and Shooting

Always load the rifle with the muzzle pointed downward.

Insert the pellets into the magazine chambers. Pull the cocking lever fully to the rear, insert the magazine straight into the receiver without tilting it, and return the cocking lever to its forward position.

The rifle is now ready to fire.

For each subsequent shot, repeat the complete cocking cycle.

The rifle is equipped with an anti-double-feed mechanism; however, proper operation requires completing the full cocking cycle every time.

Filling the Air Cylinder

The air cylinder is filled through the integrated quick-fill connector using either a PCP hand pump or a high-pressure compressor capable of supplying up to 300 bar.

Monitor the fill pressure using the cylinder pressure gauge.

When adjusting the pressure regulator, turn the adjustment key no more than one-quarter of a turn at a time. After each adjustment, either:

• fire 2–3 dry shots in a safe direction, or
• release the regulated air through the dedicated bleed screw located in the regulator chamber.

WARNING

• Never set the regulated pressure above 180 bar.
• The filling device must be equipped with an air moisture filter (air dryer) to prevent moisture from entering the rifle’s air cylinder.

Cleaning and Storage

After each shooting session, clean the barrel using a suitable cleaning rod or bore brush.

Wipe all metal surfaces with a clean cotton cloth lightly coated with mineral oil. Use silicone lubricant on all seals and O-rings.

If the rifle is stored for an extended period, periodic preventive lubrication is recommended even if it has not been fired.

Store the rifle:

• in a cool, dry place;
• protected from direct sunlight;
• uncocked;
• with no pellet in the barrel.

Any maintenance beyond routine cleaning should be performed only by a ZBROIA service center or an authorized gunsmith.
