The SAPSAN air rifle represents the latest innovation from ZBROIA. In 2018, the first generation debuted at the IWA Outdoor International exhibition. Since then, engineers focused on creating a perfectly balanced, premium-class air rifle. Moreover, they continuously improved its design and features. As a result, ZBROIA now presents the third generation of SAPSAN, combining unmatched balance, high quality, and advanced performance.
In this model, for the first time, all control elements were placed in the center of the stock – namely the cocking and filling systems. This solution allowed for faster, more convenient shooting and rifle maintenance. Another feature of the new model is a leather cheek rest with the elegant Sapsan logoIn this model, ZBROIA positioned all control elements in the center of the stock for the first time. Specifically, the cocking and filling systems are now centrally located. This design allows faster and more convenient shooting, as well as easier rifle maintenance. Moreover, the new model features a leather cheek rest adorned with the elegant Sapsan logo, adding both comfort and style.
The new generation of the ZBROIA SAPSAN PCP air rifle is the SAPSAN Tactical model. This design emphasizes the unbreakable spirit of ZBROIA, a manufacturer from Kharkiv, Ukraine. Moreover, the high-precision air rifle combines perfect balance with a modular construction. As a result, shooters can easily customize their setup according to individual preferences and needs.
The forearm is made of aviation-grade aluminum and includes M-Lock slots for added versatility. Additionally, a removable Picatinny rail allows shooters to attach various accessories such as bipods, laser pointers, slings, or front grips. Moreover, the receiver features three extra Picatinny rails: two side rails with seven slots and a top rail with eleven slots. These rails make it easy to mount optical or mechanical sights, including scopes, collimators, or iron sights.
The ergonomic wooden pistol grip of air rifle ZBROIA Sapsan Tac can be replaced to match the owner’s individual hand ergonomics. The wooden stock is fitted with a leather cheek rest, an adjustable spring-loaded butt pad, and a slot for a spare magazine to keep it always within reach. The Sapsan rifle uses reliable and simple 10-round disc magazines.
The conveniently placed side cocking lever is easy to operate, allowing fast and efficient shooting. Moreover, the Sapsan features a two-stage trigger with three adjustable settings, providing exceptional accuracy.
Its steel rifled barrel is manufactured on high-precision CNC machines and has 12 grooves with a 450 mm left-hand twist. Shooters can choose between 450 mm or 550 mm barrel lengths. Available calibers include non-licensed 4.5 mm, as well as 5.5 mm, 6.35 mm, and 7.62 mm, which require a license.
The rifle operates smoothly and quietly. In addition, the barrel comes with an integrated sound moderator and a 1/2″-20 UNF thread for mounting an external silencer.
Furthermore, the Sapsan achieves remarkable accuracy following ZBROIA’s “golden standards”: five shots at 30 meters form a group the size of a coin.
The 300 cm³ air reservoir provides enough capacity for multiple training sessions on a single fill. Additionally, the conveniently located filling port prevents dust and dirt from entering the reservoir. The side pressure gauge allows shooters to monitor pressure constantly during shooting. Moreover, the set includes two filling nozzles, compatible with a pump, tank, or compressor.
This model was introduced in 2022 and became even more “aggressive.” For the first time in rifle production, the engineers abandoned natural wood – now the stock is fully aluminum, and the pistol grip is rubberized. The Tactical M is available in Khaki, Coyote, and Black stock colors. At the same time, all characteristics and dimensions are identical to the wooden-stocked Sapsan models.
The SAPSAN Tactical shows excellent accuracy and grouping at distances up to 100 meters, making it a great tool for plinking and training.
By the way, the supply kit also includes two brass air-filling probes (6 mm diameter) – a quick-detach type and a threaded type.
